Thom Yorke DJs London’s People’s Climate March

The People’s Climate March calls for support of stricter climate policies, as thousands of people protest in unison, urging officials to pass more rigorous policies. The London gathering took place on Sunday, and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke played a DJ set on the Greenpeace U.K. float to show his support just before the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference began in Paris today.

Yorke joined artists like Björk and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn to sign a petition, pushing world leaders to take the necessary steps to practice climate action and limit global warming. His DJ set, which was performed in front of approximately 50,000 attendees, serves as a precursor to his solo performance on December 5 at Pathway to Paris, a benefit concert that spreads environmental awareness.
