Watch This: Robot Chicken skit tests Steve Aoki’s skills as a Los Angeles Dodger

Steve Aoki’s cake-tossing shtick is one of the more crass acts in dance music, but for those who dream of being “caked,” Aoki delivers pretty accurately – sometimes from as far as 80 or 90 feet away. Popular stop-motion animated show Robot Chicken is the latest to parody the oft-derided trick, but with an ending that hasn’t been imagined before. In the short video, Steve is approached by a scout for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who noticed the DJ’s arm and invites him to try his hand pitching for the team.

The clip humorously touches upon several controversial real-life aspects of dance music today, including overinflated salaries and rampant unoriginality behind mainstage decks. The major leagues of the adult comedy are probably a bit more accepting of cake as a substitute for a baseball than MLB in reality, however. At the bottom of the ninth, does Steve have what it takes to prove himself to the team and win the support of fans at Dodger Stadium?
