GRiZ – A Fine Way To Die (GRiZ Remix) [Free Download]

Detroit native GRiZ recently wrapped up his 12 Days of GRiZmas in his hometown, which brought his street team and volunteers around the city for philanthropic endeavors like volunteering at a dog shelter, delivering food to the homeless, and running a clothing drive. GRiZ debuted “A Fine Way To Die” at 2014’s edition of 12 Days of GRiZmas, and dropped a completely reimagined VIP edit as an anniversary celebration of his holiday tradition.

This rework is decidedly more uptempo, and pays particular attention to percussion and horns, while the original focus was soulful guitar riffs. Orlando Napier’s original vocal remains, tying the two productions together. GRiZ elaborated on the track: “I came out with this song exactly a year ago. It took many different compositions during the creation process. I wanted to share one of those with you on it’s anniversary. This particular version is one of my favorites.”
