Skrillex, Diplo, Jamie xx and more nominated for the 58th annual Grammys
The 58th Grammy Awards are fast approaching and this year’s field proves to be much more eclectic than in years past. Top contenders Skrillex and Diplo, as Jack Ü, have been nominated for best dance recording for the Justin Bieber-supported “Where R Ü Now.” The duo, who took 2015 by storm, are up against Above & Beyond, The Chemical Brothers, Flying Lotus, and Galantis for top honors in the single category. The duo also find themselves in the Best Dance/Electronic Album next to Caribou’s Our Love, Disclosure Caracal, and Jamie xx’s In Colour. Kaskade also returns as a Grammy hopeful for his remix of Galantis’s “Runaway” in a field of lesser known artists and remixes while Diplo rounds out the list with three total noms including Producer of the Year.
