Watch This: Adele’s ‘Hello’ gets re-imagined entirely with movie clips

Adele’s powerful ballad “Hello” nearly broke music sales and the internet upon its release, entering the charts at number one and generating millions of shares online accompanied by statements asserting her as one of the most revolutionary artists of our time.

With its stoic, sepia-shot music video having made its introduction shortly after the wave of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” edits began dying down, it was only a matter of time before “Hello” received some unique renditions of its own. One notable version arrived last week, executed with equally brilliant creativity. A YouTube user by the name of Matthjis Vlot recreated a whole lyric video to “Hello” composed entirely of movie clips. As poignant piano chords sound in the background, we travel through hundred of filmscapes that include the likes of Star Wars, Bruce Almighty, Borat, and more.
