GRiZ – Stop Trippin’ (Chill Harris Remix)
Corey Baker, formerly known as Kill Paris, has released his first track under his new moniker Chill Harris. The Colorado-based producer has remixed GRiZ‘s funky “Stop Trippin’,” reworking the melody and slowing down the tempo around the original upbeat saxophone riff. Harris’s melodic synth work in the breakdown lends a distinctive new sound to the remix.
If his newest release is any indication, it seems that the Chill Harris persona will explore the same funk and chillstep-inspired sounds that Kill Paris did. Chill Harris notes that he was “inspired by cruise control drives through the Rocky Mountains” for this particular remix.
