Pegboard Nerds recruit Krewella, NGHTMRE and more for charity-based video game
The Pegboard Nerds’ just wrapped up their Pink Cloud charity campaign, based around their new EP released last fall, raising almost $35,000 for cancer awareness and education. One of the biggest releases from the Monstercat channel to date, the Pink Cloud EP united the dance community in a singular cause to bring awareness to a deadly disease that has affected the lives of every family in the world.
To show appreciation for their fans’ support during the campaign, the Pegboard Nerds have released a fun adventure game with fellow friends Excision, Krewella, and a dozen other artists as playable characters in the game. Dodging missiles, cancer cells, and various toxins, the two dubstep heroes Parsberg and Odden try to save as many boobs as possible from the disease while they ride their pink cloud.
A free download for all fans, the project will continue to donate proceeds to the cancer charity FUCK CANCER.
Aptly titled “Nerds F Cancer,” the game is a celebration of the success of the charity initiative.
