Underworld release music video for new single, ‘I Exhale’
Underworld‘s 2016 return is one of electronic music’s most anticipated comebacks of the year. With slated performances at Coachella and a new album — Barbara Barbara, we face a shining future — coming March 18, the UK band have already teased the return of their venerated style after showcasing lead single, “I Exhale,” earlier this month. Only a week later, Underworld have unveiled the official music video for the single, and it’s as peculiar as the track itself.
Featuring frontman Karl Hyde, the music video spotlights the artist erratically dancing by himself for the track’s three and a half minute playtime. Underworld keep their budget simple with just a door and strobe light serving as props, but Hyde’s frenetic nature presents the perfect visual counterpart for the eerie single.
