Watch This: Kygo brings out R. Kelly in Chicago
Kygo has been on a tear during in the New Year. After earning the crown for fastest artist to reach a billion streams on Spotify and performing on Ellen Degeneres, the tropical don is rapidly transitioning his way from genre luminary to pop superstar. Currently on his Cloud Nine Tour, Kygo decided to surprise guests at his New York stop by bringing out Shaggy to the sold-out Barclays Center crowd.
Over the weekend, Chicago and Toronto welcomed the Norwegian superstar’s live show to their respective cities, but Kygo had another special surprise in store for Chi-Town when he brought R. Kelly out on stage. Not only did the R&B icon sing Marvin Gaye’s lyrics to Kygo’s remix of “Sexual Healing,” but he also surprised the crowd with a performance of “Ignition” to mark yet another highlight of The Cloud Nine Tour.
