Watch This: Techno marching band MEUTE brings Âme’s ‘Rej’ to life

The notion of a “techno marching band” may be uncommon, but not entirely unheard of. Meute, comprised of a dozen drummers and horn players hailing from Hamburg, thrives on re-imagining electronic classics by bringing the computerized genre to life through live instruments.
Meute’s latest undertaking is an astonishing cover of Âme’s 2011 record “Rej.” Trumpets, saxophones, drums and a xylophone define the band’s interpretation of the formerly minimal track, hitting home at just over three-and-a-half minutes of HD footage.
