Alex Metric – Drum Machine feat. The New Sins (Cut Snake Remix)
As we eagerly await the February 26 release date of the full Ammunition Pt. 4 Remixes, Alex Metric has provided us with a taste of what’s to come by posting Cut Snake’s remix of “Drum Machine.”
Featuring The New Sins’ lush vocals, “Drum Machine” receives a fresh and welcomed kick from Cut Snake who transforms the track into a darker and deeper sounding melody. Rather than getting straight into the vocals, Cut Snake brings the stabbing bassline to an all encompassing peak before slipping into a cut up version of the track’s original lyrics. Things get groovy at the breakdown and we can hear the duo’s signature tech house style come out.
Metric has said that the remaining Ammunition Pt. 4 Remixes will feature the likes of Kane West, Purple Disco Machine, CamelPhat, and Thomaas Banks.
