AraabMuzik recovering from gunshot wounds following Harlem shooting
Abraham Orellana, more commonly known as AraabMuzik, is currently recovering at Harlem Hospital after being shot in the jaw, right arm, and head last night in Harlem. Meanwhile, his friend, James Malloy, is being treated at St. Luke’s Hospital following a leg wound. Malloy is also on parole for conspiracy.
The pair were shot inside of ProPark America parking garage on 125th St yesterday evening at around 7pm. Two men approached Orellana, who at the time was in the driver’s seat of Malloy’s BMW, and deceived him into believing he dropped an item. As he rolled down his window, the two unidentified suspects opened fire.
According to the NY Daily News, police discovered three .380 caliber shell casings.
This is not the first time AraabMuzik has been shot. Orellana suffered additional wounds in May 2013 following an attempted robbery, in which he was “the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Best known for his impeccable MPC abilities, AraabMuzik has been a cherished performer in the both the hip hop and electronic worlds. Orellana is slated to release his full-length album, Dream World, later this year.
