Laidback Luke unveiled his 17-track LP Focus this past November, which he described as “enjoying my producer time and making tracks that I would both love to listen to and dance to.” Rife with collaborations from big-named artists across the EDM spectrum, the album served as an indicator of where the Dutch producer was at musically as well as an easily digestible artistic venture that guaranteed widespread appreciation from his legion of fans. 

With his emotive, poppy piece with Trevor Gunthrie serving as the album’s premier single, Luke named his slightly harder and equally catchy future house collaboration with GTA and Aruna as the second. Released congruently with an expertly-produced music video following the protagonist as he acquires a pair of sunglasses allowing him to see peoples’ true natures, Aruna’s verses flow smoothly over bouncy kicks and cleanly cut synths.
