In a series of videos and pictures, Diplo showed himself hanging out in Goa before his show in Mumbai and talking business with one of India’s most famous actors and media producers, Shah Rukh Khan. According to MumbaiMirror.com, Diplo sees the potential in strengthening his ties with the Indian media industry, just as any shrewd globally-touring media entrepreneur would. When touring through India with Major Lazer, Diplo said he was humbled by the size of their fanbase in the populous country, and wanted to incorporate their positive attitude, which they did with the music video for “Lean On,” which has over 1.1 billion views on YouTube.

In the second video from their meeting in Goa, there seems to be no doubt that they will be working together in the near future. Although the site mentions that Diplo is planning to feature SRK in one of his next singles, with these two entrepreneurial powerhouses coming together, it would not come as a surprise to see them bring American and Indian culture together with much more than just music.
