Good Morning Mix: Diplo hits the decks for the first Diplo & Friends mix of the year
If the tracklist for Diplo’s latest mix says anything, it’s that Diplo clearly missed his radio show. The newly minted double-Grammy Award winner reprised his role as the Saturday night selector at BBC for his Diplo and Friends spot, taking the decks solo this time and cruising through a two hour session stocked with the Mad Decent label head’s top picks of the moment.
Cuts from Brenmar, Jauz, Marshmello, and Ghastly make the track list, while selections from Snakehips, Jamie xx, and Riton balance the dance-heavy session out. Rihanna, Beyonce, Future and AlunaGeorge are also included, with a handful of Major Lazer tunes topping 2016’s first Diplo and Friends mix to the brim.
