Elliphant debuts Skrillex collaboration on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show
Just before the top of the year, Elliphant confirmed that she was working with Skrillex on a track for her upcoming album, Living Life Golden, due out on March 25. Now, courtesy of Zane Lowe‘s radio show on Beats 1, the coveted collaboration has been revealed: “Spoon Me”.
The production is restrained, setting a firm foundation for the Swedish singer’s commanding topline. Amid distorted instrumentals, Elliphant’s vocals are chopped into a stuttered element that brings more energy into the chorus, as compared to a more relaxed verse.
