Flume shares new video for ‘Never Be Like You’

Flume‘s sophomore LP Skin promises to propel the Australian superstar into a bold new chapter. Meanwhile, the wait for the impending album becomes more tantalizing by the day. Having already shared a few visual hints and a few choice selections, the aesthetic around Flume’s record is already building. Now with a new music video to share, we get another peek into the mental process behind one of electronic music’s most forward thinkers.

The video for the Kai-assisted “Never Be Like You” depicts the emotional connection between two lovers toeing a blurry divide between euphoria and remorse. Clemens Habicht directs the feature, which follows the same model that “Some Minds” employed, matching Flume’s wonky, futuristic flows with transposed camera work, harmoniously tying the visuals and score together.

Skin is due to land later this year via Mom + Pop.
