UK-based producer Four Tet recently made a stop in his hometown of London at the Roundhouse on February 13. His live, 75-minute set showcased his diverse tastes alongside his own originals like “Morning Side” and a live mix of “Buchla.”
The mix swells with an ambient soundscape of ethereal vocals and chimes, transitioning in light percussion about 13 minutes in. The set moves seamlessly from dark tech house basslines to bright progressive melodies and vocal cuts — a nod to the many styles that have influenced the artist’s inimitable sound as well as testament to Four Tet’s unparalleled acumen as a DJ.
