Massive Attack shares sinister new video featuring Rosamund Pike

After the surprise release of their fifth EP, Ritual Spirit, Massive Attack has shared a sinister new video for “Voodoo in My Blood” featuring Rosamund Pike. In the video, an impeccably dressed Pike walks nonchalantly into a subway station only to be possessed by a mysterious metallic orb.

The track is an eerie, oscillating force which builds as the actress unravels and her body and face contort bizarrely. Gone Girl fans are likely to have more than a few visual callbacks here. The song, featuring Scottish hip-hop group Young Fathers, and the visuals work masterfully together to build an unsettling tension.

Despite its disturbing nature, the video is a good sign that Massive Attack remain in unwaveringly true form. The trip-hop veterans have another EP slated for release this summer with a full length to follow shortly.
