DA Premiere: Marco Faraone – Spectre (Original Mix)

Italian DJ and producer Marco Faraone hits all the right notes when it comes to fierce, dark and driving techno. His latest release via Adam Beyer’s Drumcode imprint captures the very essence of what the label is all about: strong, muscular sounds, and fierce, in-your-face rhythms. Fittingly titled “Spectre,” the track is seven minutes of brawny bass and pulsating rhythms that shift direction almost on a whim, keeping you on your toes and craving more from start to finish. A shrill repetitive melody keeps the song from being all percussive 0- not that we’d mind that in the slightest.

Marco Faraone’s new EP, Climax, is due out on Drumcode on March 14.
