Anjunadeep and French Express talent Moon Boots has steadily been making a name for himself over the last few years on the strength of a slate of noteworthy remixes. Having lent his buoyant nu-disco sound to CHVRCHES, George Maple, and Nile Rodgers, among others, Moon Boots has finally found a tune to flip with subject matter as soothing as his signature sound in Elohim’s “Xanax.”
The Brooklyn producer tames the wonky trip-hop original with sharp piano chords and a finely tuned house beat. Hushed vocals drift over the warm, funky bass line and mingle with airy melodic flourishes in his superb new remix.
