Kerri Chandler is a name that needs zero introduction – the New Jersey-born producer is the living personification of house music, pushing out magical four-four sounds for the better part of twenty years now. For his latest release, Chandler has returned back to his beloved Madhouse Records imprint, re-working his groundbreaking 1993 tune “Track One” with a few production flourishes and the vocal stylings of Dutch crooner Troy Denari.

Entitled “The Way It Goes (Track 1)”, Chandler builds the beat with his signature New Jersey swing, using an addictive squared bassline to undertone the groove while bright synth lines and sprightly percussion shimmer on. Denari’s crisp voice evokes classic 90s vocal-house vibes as golden horn grooves trade off with his voice.
