IMS Engage announces first speaker pairings for 2016
IMS Engage returns to the W Hotel in Hollywood this April for its fourth iteration. As the North American branch of Pete Tong’s world-renowned International Music Summit, the annual conference has become a breeding ground for new ideas and cogent industry analysis. Bringing together a host of the country’s top execs, agents, artists, and more, IMS Engage pits industry leaders head-t0-head for unmoderated discussion.
The fourth edition of the conference features Marc Geiger, Head of Music at WME, in a conversation with John MacFarlane, CEO of Sonos, as well as James Barton, President of Electronic Music at Live Nation, in conversation with Lee Anderson, East Coast Vice President of AM Only.
The newly announced speaker pairings are arguably some of IMS Engage’s strongest to date. While James Barton is often hailed as the most powerful (and important) figure in the dance music industry, Geiger and Anderson are similarly lauded as two of the more impactful agents in the game. Lastly, John MacFarlane renowned in audio world for his contributions to home speaker technology.
