Lollapalooza unveils amazing 25th anniversary lineup
In 2016, Lollapalooza has established itself as a dominating global festival brand, having just completed a run of events in South America. Now about to turn 25 years old, the annual Chicago event has announced one of the biggest lineups of this year’s festival circuit. Expanding the event to four days to mark the occasion, Lollapalooza is bringing over 170 acts to Chicago’s Grant Park across July 28-31, inviting Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers to headline the summertime affair. Top billing acts also include Disclosure, Major Lazer, Flume and Future. Lollapalooza’s founder, Perry Farrel, is also slated to perform with his band Jane’s Addiction to celebrate the festival’s 25th installment.
Roping in a colorful cast of talent, Lollapalooza is reeling in music’s biggest names of the moment to celebrate its quarter-century milestone. Hip-hop is well represented with J.Cole, Big Grams, and Vic Mensa, among a dance-heavy lineup ranging from Die Antwoord to Zhu, Miike Snow and Hardwell.
