Mercer & Mightyfools – Drop It Low (Original Mix)

Last week, Mercer released the title track from his Opium EP. Now the second half has been revealed: a collaboration with Dutch producers Mightyfools, “Drop It Low.” Both acts are known for their own brand of high-energy house and “Drop It Low” delivers.

The track announces its intentions early, repeating the title during the buildup. The drop introduces a sharp lead reminiscent of a motor revving, slinging the track forward aggressively. The middle section is drenched in reverb as it sets the stage for the second drop that reaches even higher.

This strong release will only increase Mercer’s profile, which is already on the rise thanks to his appearance on DJ Snake‘s Pardon My French Tour. You can listen to the entirety of the Opium EP below, which is out now on Tchami’s Confession imprint.
