Ultra Worldwide expands to Hong Kong in 2016
After historic returns in 2015, Ultra Worldwide is set to expand their franchise reach even further. The prolific festival series has announced they will bring the Road to Ultra to Hong Kong in 2016.
Iterations of the festival already span 19 countries and five continents, but 2015 saw the franchise double down in Asian markets. The Ultra brand nearly doubled its reach across Asia last year hosting events in Macau, Singapore, Bali, and the Phillipines on top of syndicate events in Korea, Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan. An event in Hong Kong will be a foothold for organizers.
Details for the event, including possible venues and dates, are forthcoming. Lineups, too, have yet to be announced though a quick scan of this years early phase releases for UMF Miami and Korea would suggest a reveal including the likes of Afrojack, Avicii, and Martin Garrix. In addition to appearances from the usual suspects, Hong Kong attendees can expect to witness Road to Ultra’s cutting edge stage production and a glimpse into the festival atmosphere.
