Watch This: Flume and Kai perform ‘Never Be Like You’ live at Laneway Festival

As the wait for Flume‘s sophomore album, Skin, continues, Harley Streten has taken steps to keep fans satiated by releasing previews, new stage designs, remixes, and videos for the album’s singles. The young Australian’s latest offering comes in the form of a live video performance of “Never Be Like You,” with assistance from vocalist, Kai, at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Melbourne.

The track’s scintillating synths and wistful vocals are an impeccable combination that only soars when performed live. Though the track has been out for less than two months, it has already risen to the top of the charts in Australia and, as can be seen in the video, no one in the crowd at Laneway had trouble recalling the lyrics and singing along.

If these past few months have been any indication, 2016 is set to be an absolutely colossal year for Flume.
