Black Coffee announces deal with Ultra and releases first single ‘Come With Me’ off forthcoming LP

Fresh off of his set last night at Coachella, Black Coffee, an award-winning DJ and producer hailing from South Africa, announced today that he has inked a deal with Ultra Music. Previously, Black Coffee released music through his own label he started in Johannesburg, Soulistic Music. Extending his reach even further, his forthcoming LP, Pieces of Me, is set to be released through the powerhouse label later this year. Along with the announcement, Black Coffee released the first single off of the LP, titled “Come With Me.”

Owing to the peaceful vibe throughout the song, “Come With Me” has no reason for a real “drop.” Rather, the track shines through its use of tastefully recorded and sampled instruments. Warm acoustic and electric guitar riffs trickle overtop of subtle-yet-complex percussion, paving the way for the smooth vocals of fellow South African Mque to complete the track’s genuinely calming demeanor.
