Chapter 24 releases inaugural Seven Stories compilation, ‘Overcoming The Monster’
Since launching in 2014, Chapter 24 has blossomed into one of the more exciting tastemaker imprints in the house and techno space. The label has already hosted everyone from Dave Seaman to Jonas Saalbach, not to mention racking in support from genre heavyweights like Maceo Plex and John Digweed.
Chapter 24’s latest project is a new compilation series titled Seven Stories, the first edition of which is “Overcoming The Monster.” Featuring selections from artists like Ukraine’s Stas Drive and Paris’s Anton Dhouran, it’s an international showcase of some of the most underrated producers in the house and techno scene. With an emphasis on deep, brooding concoctions, the compilation is remarkably consistent. Melody-centric yet restrained enough to hold a killer groove, the tracks maintain their club appeal while bringing a bit of life to the dancefloor.
