DJ Shadow – Nobody Speak ft. Run The Jewels
DJ Shadow’s robust music career, which has now spanned well over two decades, reaches a new milestone this year with the release of his fifth studio album, The Mountain Will Fall. The album, out June 24 via Mass Appeal, marks his first full length release since 2011’s The Less I Know, The Better.
The California-born producer and DJ introduces his forthcoming album with “Nobody Speak,” his collaborative single with hip-hop duo Run the Jewels. The funky feature comes equipped with a hearty arrangement of brass, percussions, and looping bass, pairing perfectly with the flow of El-P and Killer Mike. “Nobody Speak” marks a more groovy tone for the duo, while the track’s production serves as a treat for fans of Shadow’s classic hip-hop rhythms.
“Nobody Speak” will also be released in Run the Jewels’ virtual reality package VRTJ to promote Record Store Day.
