DJ Snake feat. Bipolar Sunshine – Middle (4B Remix)

DJ Snake’s radio-friendly “Middle” solidified his status as an artist capable of capturing mainstream appeal without losing credibility in the electronic sphere. In the five months since its release, “Middle” has received a number of remixes, but rising Mad Decent star 4B is the only one thus far to be officially granted official remix duties for the track.

4B ups the tempo and refashions Bipolar Sunshine’s smooth vocals over a bouncy Jersey Club bassline. Though hard-hitting productions like “Pop Dat” dominates 4B’s recent repertoire, he keeps his touch light with “Middle,” demonstrating his evolving restraint as he develops as an artist beyond his trap genesis. This remix is sure to heat up the dance floor at 4B’s back-to-back weekend performances at Coachella later in April, where he’ll be playing label boss Diplo & Friends event at the festival’s Heineken Dome.
