Mako – Into The Sunset (Original Mix)
Although the number of DJ/producers who sing and play instruments on their own songs is certainly growing, they are still a relatively rare breed – especially those capable of all of the above. The duo Mako play the instruments and record the vocals themselves, which is why it’s always good news when they release a new track.
Their most recent track, “Way Back Home,” was an emotional journey of a record with inspiration coming from numerous genres such as indie electronic and orchestral. Whereas “Way Back Home” boasted melancholic sentiments, “Into The Sunset” is a feel-good track through and through. Although more of a pop tune, it will no doubt resonate with the forthcoming summer season.
