Mat Zo pays tribute to Prince with ‘Natural’
Yesterday’s passing of Prince has rocked the music world to its core, with many electronic music artists honoring the late musician. In the wake of this tragedy, British producer Mat Zo shares an unreleased track titled “Natural,” which was crafted last year “as a sort of homage to Prince.”
“Natural” is a funky, synth-driven single that blends a groovy dance melody with processed vocals for a Prince-inspired track with a slight electro twist. “I thought now would be a good time to share it, in memory of one of the greatest music makers of all time,” says Zo about “Natural.”
Prince passed away on April 21, 2016 at age 57 following a recent illness while on his Piano & A Microphone tour.
