Sasha and Skepta both forced to cancel their Coachella performances
With Coachella 2016 officially kicking off, fans can finally release their anticipation of the Californian festival. With a live stream available for those who can’t attend, hints at new music debuting from headliner Calvin Harris, and more than a few surprise performances, 2016’s iteration is shaping up to be a doozy.
Unfortunately, the festival has had two untimely cancellations announced. According to the official Coachella Twitter account, Welsh house music legend Sasha will be unable to perform on Weekend 1, while English rapper Skepta is prevented from performing either of his sets on both weekends.

.@Skepta Due to VISA issues, we regret to inform you that Skepta’s Coachella appearance for Weekend 1 & 2 are cancelled. — Coachella (@coachella) April 15, 2016
Sasha’s cancellation comes fresh on the heels of his announced reunion with Digweed coming in September — no word on whether this medical emergency will put that performance in jeopardy.
Skepta is apparently being refused entry to the US, as, according to his Twitter account, the country has denied his visa request.
Love to everybody that wanted to see me on tour this month, my U.S visa has been denied and I am not allowed in America right now.
