Tiësto receives his own filter for Doppler Labs’ Here Active Listening

Doppler Labs broke into the earbud industry when the audio startup introduced their DUBS Acoustic Filters that helped preserve listeners’ live music experiences without incurring hearing loss. After landing strategic partnerships with Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands, Doppler introduced their first wireless earbud technology, Here Active Listening, that allows listeners to customize their listening experience via a smartphone app of which includes real world volume control, preset filters,  a 5-band EQ, and sound effects.

Here Active Listening already has integrated filters like “Small Studio”, “Carnegie Hall” and “Stratosphere” for listeners who want preset audio levels, but Doppler Labs looks to further enhance the user experience by introducing artist-customized modes, one of which now comes from Musical Freedom kingpin Tiësto. The Dutch producer personally designed “Tiësto Mode” – a preset filter acoustically customized by Tiësto according to his sound.

The next wave of Here Active Listening earbuds will unfortunately only be available for purchase at this year’s Coachella. Attendees can join the waitlist to buy their own pair at Coachella here.
