Amsterdam Music Festival extends to 5-day event
The 2016 edition of Amsterdam Music Festival, held concurrently with dance music’s preeminent conference Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) since 2013, is expanding to a gargantuan five days. 2015’s festival featured groundbreaking 3D technology, special effects and pyrotechnics, and an expectedly star-studded lineup, as well as the traditional unveiling of DJ Mag Top 100 list.
This year is set to surpass precedent with expanded venues and increased duration. Festival organizers promise a “bigger, brighter and louder festival that will continue to exceed your expectations and showcase why Amsterdam is the epicenter of European electronic music.” Amsterdam Music Festival will take place October 19-23 at Amsterdam Arena, Heineken Music Hall, and the Ziggo Dome.
