Ever wanted to rave on a spaceship to Mars? Now you can

CHROMED, a clandestine series of underground warehouse parties, is set to return to Brooklyn this month. Warning: this will not be your average dance music party.

While CHROMED has arguably set a new precedent for Brooklyn warehouse events, it seems that the event producer has ambitious plans to outdo all of its parties since its inception in 2015. This month’s edition, in partnership with Jukely, will transform the venue into a replica of a spaceship. The final destination? Mars.

Cited as a “communal VR experience,” A Mission to Mars will utilize a Funktion-One soundsystem, custom sculptures, and 3D projection mapping to narrate a story as the evening advances into the early hours of the morning.

On May 13, revelers will momentarily leave planet earth as they are transported to Mars, with sounds provided by Adana Twiins, Jefferson909, Dgro and Wig-Wam + Day Cart. Attendees can also enjoy an open bar from 10-11pm ahead of liftoff.

Tickets are available for purchase here.
