DJ Snake’s last five singles have gone platinum in the US

Since his breakout track, “Bird Machine,” surfaced on Mad Decent, DJ Snake has proven himself to have an undeniable talent for making hits. Between “Lean On” with Major Lazer becoming the most streamed song on Spotify to “Get Low” scoring a scene in Furious 7, the Parisian powerhouse has played an integral role in the diffusion of dance music into the mainstream market.

Recently, DJ Snake took to his Instagram to announce that his last five singles — outside of “Propaganda” — have all been RIAA-certified platinum in the US.

The five tracks — “Turn Down For What,” “You Know You Like It,” “Get Low,” “Lean On,” and “Middle” — have sold 14 million copies across the board, with “Turn Down For What” raking in 5 platinum certifications on its own and “Lean On” earning another 4. With his debut LP still in the works to be released on Interscope, fans will need to keep their ears close to the radio for DJ Snake’s next viral hit.
