Stoneface & Terminal exemplify trance’s similarity to classic music in their latest offering, “Hypogean.” It plays out like an organ concerto in a dark cathedral, with darkly dramatic melodies played out by strings over punchy, fast kicks. The clip’s subtle harmonies come together nicely as it slowly coalesces into a modern electronic symphony. “Hypogean” is the German duo’s first release on FSOE, a fitting imprint for their consistent uplifting singles which recently included the heavily lauded “Earth To Brain.”
