UPDATE: Bassnectar confirms release date for new album ‘Unlimited’
To say Bassnectar is a prolific songwriter would be an understatement. In the last 15 years, the producer — real name Lorin Ashton — has released 11 entire albums. Now he’s confirmed the arrival of his 12th LP, Unlimited, due out on June 3.
Ashton nonchalantly dropped the news on Twitter yesterday:
Tomorrow is TKO video in LA with @RyeRye @ZIONI , then nonstop prep in the labs for @MysterylandUSA – and the new #UNLIMITED album June 3 :)

Few details have emerged thus far regarding the new LP. If it’s anything akin to past releases however, expect a deep tracklist heavy on collaborations. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised to find Ashton’s new song with The Glitch Mob amid the selection.
Catch Bassnectar headlining Mysteryland USA on Sunday, June 12.
UPDATE: Bassnectar has corrected his earlier tweet. Pre-sale begins on June 3, while the album will be officially released on June 17.
