DJ Snake’s debut album is finished

Whether you’re a fan of his music or not, there’s no denying that DJ Snake is a phenomenon. One need look no further than the success of his past five singles — which have all gone platinum in the US — to see this.

Perhaps most remarkable about the Frenchman’s career is that he’s managed to achieve so much without ever-releasing an album. That’s all about to change, however, as DJ Snake has confirmed the completion of his debut LP.

The album — the title of which has yet to be revealed — will be released on Interscope Records, a sub-division of Universal Music Group, at an unannounced date. Previous press releases noted the album would see an early 2016 release.

The first single from the album, a collaboration with Bipolar Sunshine titled “Middle,” arrived in October of 2015. This was followed in February by “Propaganda,” which has since become one of the most played songs on the festival circuit. Lastly, in June of 2016, we received “Talk,” which samples George Maple’s 2014 song “Talk Talk.”

Outside of these singles, DJ Snake has also confirmed collaborations with Kaskade and Skrillex. It wouldn’t be too far fetched to imagine both cuts among the album tracklist, especially considering that the latter track with Skrillex was recently previewed from Snake’s own studio, with the hitmaker remarking on Twitter that the track would be released “soon.”

Listen to DJ Snake’s current singles below and stay tuned for more details on his debut album.
