EDC Las Vegas will be streamed live via Facebook and YouTube
For electronic music revelers unable to attend Las Vegas’ flagship festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, the three-day affair plans to stream a number of live sets via Facebook Live. The live stream, powered by Smirnoff, will feature a handful of EDC’s most popular artists across eight stages between 11:30pm and 8:30am EST, though an official lineup has yet to be released.
Facebook Live was unveiled earlier this year to help users – both businesses and individuals – connect with their friends and audiences in real time. Live is available to smartphone users and can be used in a multitude of ways, such as broadcasting events or for personal use to give friends a glimpse of your favorite moments.
In addition to artist sets, EDC will stream behind-the-scenes interviews and wedding ceremonies taking place at the festival’s chapels. The live stream will also be viewable via YouTube.
