Hodor announces new Rave Of Thrones tour in Australia

Season 6 of Game Of Thrones brought along a great deal of sadness for fans [SPOILER ALERT] when Hodor fulfilled his destiny of saving Bran while losing his own life in the process. While Kristian Nairn’s beloved character will no longer be with us on the small screen, his essence remains immortalized for the time being through his other creative outlet: DJing.

Nairn’s longtime passion for spinning house tracks — which began before his time on GoT — inspired the actor to create “Rave Of Thrones” in 2014, with Hodor traveling to various locations across the world to perform at themed dance parties. Now he’ll be bringing the series back to Australia this year, touching down in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney throughout the month of October. The website states “Unlike the Red Wedding, these soirees will be remembered for seasons to come for all the right reasons,” and encourages attendees to dress up thematically as well.

“For one night only in every capital across this land venues will be transformed into the finest halls of Westeros, wherein patrons will be (enforced by the hand of the king) dressed to the occasion in a manner that would befit Queen Cersi herself.”

Tour Dates:

14/10 – Metro City, Perth
15/10 – Oh Hello, Brisbane
20/10 – Fat Controller, Adelaide
21/10 – Trak, Melbourne
22/10 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
