MSTRKRFT – Party Line (Mr. Oizo Remix)
With the announcement of a North American tour this month and a brand new studio album, Toronto based electronic duo MSTRKRFT recently dropped a new single off the work that pulls out all the stops. Titled “Party Line,” the track lives up to its name with fierce, jarring synths and a chunky, gritty old school groove that goes heavy on the funk. This week, French electronic musician (and film director) Mr. Oizo tried his own hand at reworking the number, transforming it into a laid back masterpiece that’s sure to take listeners way, way back.
