tINI’s beach parties have been banned from Ibiza
Munich-based tINI has made her tINI And The Gang gatherings a fixture in Ibiza over the past five years since her breakout in the house and techno world. She joyfully announced an expansion of her intimate free affair for its milestone fifth edition, where the party would begin as a beach party at Lips before transitioning into a night party at Underground.
Island authorities, possibly led by locals, were not so keen on this idea. “Unfortunately, there will be no free beach party for us. The government again struck back in Ibiza…” tINI woefully explained in a video on her Facebook wall. Night time parties will continue on at Underground as planned however, with the club agreeing to open early to allow time for all the artists she booked to perform.
2016 marks the second year in a row where tINI And The Gang have faced police persecution; in 2015, their party had to switch venues halfway through the club season as a result of the police shutting down its base club of No Name.
