The victims of the Orlando Pulse attack to be honored with memorial

The victims of the horrific terror attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando will soon be honored with a memorial. The attack on the gay club in June left 49 dead — the deadliest mass shooting in US history — and many more wounded before SWAT members stormed the establishment and killed the shooter.

The memorial is spearheaded by the OnePulse Foundation, founded by Pulse owner Barbara Poma, a not-for-profit organization which intends to provide relief and support to victims and their family members. There is no set date for when the memorial or club, which Poma has vowed to reopen, will be accessible to the public.
