4B is basking in the summer months, from taking advantage of the spotlight at EDC Las Vegas with special guest Soulja Boy, to unveiling his latest original project on Mad Decent. The latter is his brand new three-track EP, Weapons 2.0 — a display of his high-octane trap perspective.

Weapons 2.0 is cloaked in darkness, more light-off music than afternoon festival tunes. The arsenal begins unloading with “Carnival” featuring Bunji Garlin, and follows by bringing tech house elements into the picture with the Duckworthsound collaboration “Bring In The Drums.” With trap and club elements in tow, the EP concludes with the frenetic bass arrangement known as “Fire,” worked in tandem with D-John.
