Historic new disco event I FEEL LOVE to take over NYC with Giorgio Moroder and more

“One day in Berlin, Brian Eno came running into the studio and said:

‘I have heard the sound of the future…’

and he plays ‘I Feel Love’ by Donna Summer…”

– David Bowie

“Disco:” a funky, soul-infused genre of dance music that dominated the 1970s — an all-inclusive style of music that invited gay, straight, Black and White club-goers alike to soak in its four-on-the-floor beats at renowned dance clubs across the country like Studio 54 (New York), Dugan’s Bistro (Chicago), The Library (Atlanta) and countless others.

Re-creating a decade awash with freedom of self-expression, promiscuity and intimacy may seem unattainable, though Casablanca Records and Discord have set the bar high with their latest endeavor: I FEEL LOVE. The highly immersive event will offer disco enthusiasts the rare opportunity to travel more than 40 years back in time as they reacquaint themselves with a timeless era. In taking a deep dive into the 1970s, I FEEL LOVE will invite disco kingpin Giorgio Moroder to lead the two-day event.

I FEEL LOVE will take place at an undisclosed Brooklyn warehouse September 9 and 10, with the first night playing host to Jackmaster, Oliver and Kungs while the second will invite Armand Van Helden, Soul Clap & Nicky Siano to the decks. Famed producer Giorgio Moroder and former Studio 54 resident Nicky Siano will grace I FEEL LOVE with their coveted presence across both nights.
