Live Nation is adding TSA pre-check enrollment to shorten lines at festivals

Those ever-increasing admission lines at concerts and festivals may soon become a little less stressful (and a little more safe), thanks to a new partnership between Live Nation and IdentoGO, the security pre-screening company used by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Thanks to the new partnership, concert-goers can sign up for TSA Pre✓ at some events and festivals and apply for IdentoGO’s new Fast Pass program, which will allow TSA Pre✓ members to enjoy an express entry lane.

Live Nation’s President of Client Sales, Maureen Ford, said that the company is always on the hunt for new ways to streamline the concert-going experience for music fans. Fast Pass by IdentoGO will allow the team to get fans out of line and into the show faster than ever before.

Fans can sign up for the program at a pre-approved location. The fee is $85 with a valid ID and proof of U.S. citizenship. It takes about ten minutes to enroll and the membership lasts for five years. The Gorge’s Watershed Country Music Festival was the first major event to use the system.
