RL Grime’s second album is officially underway
The follow up to RL Grime‘s Void is now officially underway. Leaking the initial reveal via Snapchat, the producer, real name Henry Steinway, is playing his cards close to the chest, keeping the details on the new record sparse for now. A tantalizingly telling “RL Album 2” is scrawled atop a white board with what is presumably a redacted tracklist beneath.
In his debut studio offering, we found the Wedidit proponent moving away from the ephemeral trends of trap music at the time and exploring the deeper components of the genre he had helped put on the map. Now, as RL Grime prepares his sophomore studio record, we could potentially find RL Grime breaking new ground in the trap landscape once again.
